JofreJofre Member
edited June 2024 in Requests

Hello!

I'm looking for a cheap VPS in Europe.

It should have:

Single core score (geekbench) >= 1500
Multicore score >= 4000
Disk space >= 80gb
Disk type NVMe
Port speed >= 1gbit
Bandwidth >= 5tb
1 ipv4
Port 25 open if possible

The cheapest possible, it can be paid monthly/quarterly/yearly.

Thanks!

    From the benchmarks I see online, the AMD EPYC 7401P only has about 1k single core score, right?

    Oh right, sorry. I thought I put it in the main post, I'm referring to geek bench (I'm basing in yabs to compare)

    Hi,

    https://layer7.net/cloud-server#FR-PAR

    -> AMD Ryzen ( 7950X3D )

    Much stronger single core performance wont be easy to find.

    Starting at 3.73 EUR per month ( prepayments of quater/semi/annal = 5 / 10 / 20% discount ).

    @Jofre I can recommend @layer7, I have exactly that 2 core Ryzen VPS in Paris, the performance is very constant, and, according to HetrixTools, the uptime since April is 99.987%. And the support is fast, friendly and helpful.

    Thanked by 1layer7
  • @Jofre

    Both @layer7 and @heartbeat_IT are premium providers with super solid vps with excellent support.

    one offer is a bit better for computational power (multi core GB6).

    Yeah... It sucks as both options are too similar, one has a better disk and the other a better CPU and more ram but costs a little bit more... It's hard to pick between such sweet deals xDD

    If that helps you decide, I can give you a trial VPS for 24 hours so you can check it out ;)

    I included a hint suggesting which one I will pick between the two premium providers.

    @heartbeat_IT VPS is a bit better with limited budget of under $5/month.

    @layer7 is a pretty close second with photo finish difference.

    You are probably right, anyway I will not really use the things layer7 is better at and it's 3€ a month more expensive, I just bought @heartbeat_IT option.

    Let's see how it goes, thanks for the advice :)
