  • got my first VPS from GC, very happy with network and performance
the only downside is the vps location is NL , the ip register as UK i guess , and google result shows Vietnam or something like that

  • @NDTN Looking for the following specs:

    • 2 vCPU
    • 4GB RAM
    • 50GB SSD/NVMe
    • 1TB Bandwidth
    • 1x IPv4
    • 1Gbps Port
    • Any location

Budget is tight; will opt for a yearly plan if I get a good discount! Thanks.

Open a ticket, maybe they can have it sorted out. Most likely a mismatch country in big GeoIP DBs such as Maxmind

I had a similar issue with their UK location. I opened a ticket, received an invoice for $2, paid it, and got a new IP with the proper RIPE location from their older subnet.
Considering that it's a one-time payment, it doesn't seem so expensive to me that it wouldn't be worth it.

    EPYC SG-1
Less than 2 months left for this VM. I'm thinking of switching to budget VPS as I don't need much power but definitely need more RAM.

    Overall 10/10 value. Totally recommended.

edit: BudgetKVMSG-2 is in stock

    Hi,
BudgetKVM-3 is the highest plan in this Budget KVM Sale category. To get a 12GB RAM VPS, please buy additional service ($3/1GB RAM/mo- calculated according to VPS due date).
    Thanks!

  • Are any of your locations DMCA ignored? And do you accept crypto payment?

Crypto payments (BTC, USDT, BNB, ETH, etc.) are accepted here. Unfortunately, the DMCA report will not be ignored on our system.

Looks like additional service of 4G RAM will cost $144/year. Unfortunately that would be too much for me. Anyway thank you for the Budget Friendly BudgetKVMSG-3 Plan.

    Hi all,
It's time for some new updates ;)
    1. Openstack Computes: I know it passes the ETA to release some "beta" products, but rest assured that we are still working on it. The current integrations of the Openstack module with the billing system like WHMCS/Hostbill or Fleio do not work well with our purpose. So we have decided to develop our own Control Panel/Billing system for Openstack, started from simple and will add more features. I will have more details soon.
    2. Storage VPS deals: We have stopped deploying new storage nodes since last year due to many limitations. After multiple testings, from now on our storage nodes will be deployed with local booting NVMe drive + block storage on CEPH for best performance and safety. Beta access will be available in 3-4 weeks. Just wait for delivery of our new 100G equipment (switches, cards, DACs,..)
    3. Legacy Control Panel: from July we will start updating our legacy SolusVM to SolusVM 2, per location. New locations/new servers will be deployed on Virtfusion.
    4. Shared hosting services: GreenCloud will be providing shared hosting services. Singapore Cpanel servers are ready so we need some beta testers now. Please drop me a PM if you want to join, some requirements:
    - Have been a long time member of LET, for at least 2 months
    - Good knowledge/experience with Cpanel, can test the hosting under many scenarios
    - Report to us any issues you have during the beta periods
    - Limited to 10 beta testers for now

    Benefits:

    • Early access to our shared hosting services
    • 1x Free hosting plan for 1 year after the beta test.

Some of our new Cpanel features:

    • EPYC Rome/Milan CPUs
    • NVMe 4.0 RAID-10 Storage
    • 10Gbps Port
    • Litespeed webserver with LScache
    • Cloud Linux
    • Daily backup with Jetbackup
    • High Availability Hosting in the future

We have the plan to create new Storage VMs for existing customers to migrate the data manually. More details will be provided once we launch the new storage services in current locations.

No worries, we will think of an option to do that. At least you can switch to Virtfusion with a lot more features when our new nodes in SJC available.

    Hi @NDTN ,
Do the EPYC VDS Line-up come with actual physical cores, ie, 1 core / 2 threads?

I'm having a tough time getting the information from the support, probably due to some language gap - all they say is you get 1 or 2 core based on the plan and can use it 100%.

VDS plans have physical cores assigned that users can use them 100% all the time. No threads here as with KVM virtualization we cannot assign that.
