This is not an server, just an desktop that I found on street and I converted it into an NAS server.
Got one SATA 3 SSD with 120GB for boot, 3x 1TB HDD and 1x 2TB HDD.

Are you sure that's cheaper on the long run than simply some 100€ N100 computer directly from China? A N100 has 6W TDP vs 100W TDP and is far faster.
BTW, you've got 1Gbps symmetrical at home?
Today just got two pieces of Xiaomi Smart Plug 2 to measure electricity consumption for both my computer and the storage server. I don't think I will buy other 'servers' or something like that just because it's an simple DIY server to say like that.
And about the network, this is the SpeedTest result, I started an network-speed test on NAS to put an complete list from Europe internet providers.
