Netcup VPS Gen 11
Seems Netcup have introduced an updated lineup of VPS products, Generation 11.
According to their sales email we can expect increased per-core performance which is always welcomed.
First 100 orders of the VPS 1000 G11 and VPS 2000 G11 are coming up as free but this is on usual Netcup 12 month contracts if you can deal with that commitment for a new idler 😃.
Interested to see some yabs on these although the "Piko", "Nano" and "Micro" may be better value depending on your needs at the lower end.

More benchmarks spotted, not bad.

2.5 Gbps network, with throtling to 200 Mbps if traffic exceeds 2 TB in a 24-hours period seems to be very unique with netcup Anexia network.
Seems to be unbeatable in the low-end range. When I compare it with Contabo, netcup's only negative point is the contract period.
My only other real complaint is the inability to enable VM-x/AMD-V as noted in the Yabs.
For most people this is fine but I like to run nested VMs which isn't possible on any Netcup offering (As far as I know).
I switched to Kimsufi for this reason. It is a strong negative point. They say that it's reason is the security but I think that it is simply a financial decision. However netcup does not offer dedicated servers to customers so if nested virt might available it might not be a concurence for another product line.
yesterday I bought the smallest plan (VPS 250 G11), here is the yabs:
