Anyone is using GMO Internet for domain registration?
Hey,
I am a web hosting provider looking for a cheap .com and .net register. Currently, I am using ConnectReseller, and the pricing is not that good. It's not profitable for me to sell a .com domain, so I am thinking of shifting to another register that can give me domains at a good price so I can make some profit.
I have seen some web hosting providers giving .com domains at low prices, and they are using the GMO Internet register.
Is anyone using this? Are they reliable?

How much will it cost you to register a .com domain with GMO Internet?
I've registered some domain names at GMO groups(onamae.com/value-domain.com). They offered very cheap registration price first year. But, They sent spammy email per about 2 days and hard to stop and renewal price is not cheap I think.
I am. Thru web.z.com. But not for reselling.
Using them for 3 years now.
I have 4 domains with them. So far, they have been reliable and I have not encountered any issues. And because of that, I have not created a ticket to contact their support. so no idea about their chat support response time.
Onamae offers a one-time free registration for .com or .net.
But I don't recommend Onamae. They have problems with handling personal information.
As Porlam already said, Renewal fees are not cheap at any registry in japan.

If you are looking for 1 cent domain, use XDOMAIN (By XServer Inc).
It's domain reseller (of Star-Domain by Netowl) company and offer 1 cent .com .net and other cheap domains. (First Year Price, Renewal is average pricing)
(They have better support, and better service with same pricing)
Why GMO (Onamae) is bad, because they suspensd domain without notice, very slow & unprofessional support, and many issues.
Like the registered domain on onamae have 200+ records and ur domain used to affiliate.
So Onamae is most worst domain registrar. DO NOT USE, OR WASTE YOUR TIME (And Money.)
Also They are doing scam business too.
On Register domain, The last checkout page.
They ask "do you need hosting?" and ask Yes or No.
If you misclick YES. You will got hosting subscription forcibly without any additional check.
And You have to pay for 3 month cause for minimum contract.
They won't refund.
And Addition.
You can check ICANN Website and lookup registrars.

And GMO INTERNET have 4 accredited registrars. ( AS I FOUND )
And GMO have many reseller brands such as muumuuu domain, value domain, lolipop.
I have also bad experiences with them, so If you hear the domain registrar/seller is GMO Reseller. DO NOT USE.
