Best to use Proxmox nowadays since Broadcom are just driving ESXi into the ground.
i need vmware for some projects with macos
Yeah just use proxmox
I said i need vmware
If you have a license, can't you reach out to their technical support team?
They are moving their platform, dont even have a chat and active support…
Things like this happens not long after Broadcom acquisitions
For?
I wanna use it, it have some interesting stuff wich proxmox dosent
I got this email a few days ago
Personally i use PVE / proxmox so won reply to the email. Free ESXi only allows VMs with 4 cores maximum which is a non starter for my use case. Proxmox will probably be on par for the other features that ESXi has soon anyway.
The support accounts were migrated from VMWare to Broadcom. Recently got an email that included:
XCP-ng
(Proxmox can macOS as well, if it’s all you need)
Looks like even for trials you now need an enterprise account.
