They are - we have about 20 on the way, just missing a few bits and ends. They are not going to be nearly as high spec as the annual stuff though. Think more like i5's with 16-32gb of RAM and a single drive.
The $499/yearly dedicated is probably the most aggressive offer we will be able to put out anytime soon, in terms of specs vs value.
That one is limited quantity, no idea how long they'll last - the annual stuff typically goes within a few days.

Not a typical build we carry - This was a one off for a customer, but we upgraded him so it became the giveaway server.
With dedi's we tend to be most competitive with annually billed E5's. Not carrying a huge inventory of cancelled/unsold servers month over month lets us offer some awesome deals for long term customers.
We do have a large lot of low end monthly dedi's coming in - however those aren't going to be E3's either. Maybe in the future

What's the CPU for the VPS plans?
A pool of beefy E5 V4's, there are some older V2's in the mix as well.
All are carefully monitored in terms of resources allocated, and of course the older nodes get babied a little more. They don't see as much load. If performance is ever a concern feel free to open a ticket with some details of the use case and we will try to match you to the best host node for it!
You can also cancel the service in your portal within 7 days and request a refund if it's not to your satisfaction.
