There's a $25/month if you can raise your budget $5.
It's on heymman website... I use them since they close to me... Kansas City

I am not affiliated with them and they don't advertise here.

    E3-1240 v3 | 32GB ram | 1.9TB SSD | 100TB BW @ 1gbps

Here is yabs, for the $25/month server.

    root@code:~# curl -sL yabs.sh | bash

Unrealistic budget is unrealistic. You might get something at <= $20 but likely not with 32GB RAM and that 1TB SSD (even if you're OK with a single-disk-no-raid config)... just forget about it.

  • It might be hard to even get a VPS with that much RAM under $20. Good luck with the hunt

  • @totally_not_banned @HostSlick I found on OVH but HDD not SSD
    @Nanja I might consider that.

Yeah, Kimsufi. There's also the Psychz(?) offer at $19.99 [seemingly also gone and also likely just 16GB]. That's basically all your options besides maybe some kind of weird thing from oneprovider [nope, also not going to happen with 32GB].

    Hi,

    thanks for mentioning!

But this 1 TB SSD thing for 20 USD / month is just something that is not going to happen ( with us ).

This Strato thing seems to be what the topic opener is searching. At least strato should be solied. But of course, is a massprovider which comes with some downsides.

But if the budget is not moving i guess there wont be something (much) better coming up.

I'm sure you can rent out your 1 TB SSD to him for $20 a month (without the rest of the server :p )

The strato.de one doesn't look to bad, currently looks like its €1 pm for the first 3 months.

Also, I believe the Pulsedmedia MD range can only have Debian installed unless that has changed.

Yes, Debian only for now unless you have long prepayment (1+ year) and willing to beta test.
Automation is still work in progress

No IPMI would ever be offered to customer accessible from us.

I hear enough from other providers how customers keep fucking the hardware, blowing motherboards, CPUs or just simply disabling IPMI/messing IPMI configs and all kinds of shenanigans.

if I take MD24 or MD12 could you config Ubuntu 20 ? Another thing everyone is not the same - I think having IPMI access means my hosters trust me as I trust him with my data.

No, unless you prepay for 3 years then you can participate on the beta.

It doesn't matter, because the few % are hell bent on breaking hardware by any means necessary, and you set rules by that few %.

Would you want to run around swapping 500€ motherboards all day long? No?
