NordicVM just scammed me, he refuse to refund.
Hello dear community, yesterday i asked owner of nordic vm ltd for a refund, as he dosen't provide his yearly vps.s anymore. He said will refund to all clients who ordered, i asked for a refund too, he told me to make a case on paypal, but as i sent the money with f&f as he said , cuz he get fees, now i cant make a case for refund on paypal, What should i do? he refuse to refund me directly on paypal.... with reason he refunded too much and dosent have money anymore...

He also posted an advertisement here, but it got removed, dunno why you have to ask LET mods. Clearly also in this advertisement thread it was a scam, I already now see 2 people in the last month opening a thread about this. I think LET has now clue what's happening. They should have let the thread be and stated it was a scam, now you see people get scammed for nothing.

The registered business can be a legitimate structure.
Yes, it is legal to open a UK company from Romania. There are no country restrictions for UK companies. A resident or citizen of Romania can open a UK company. The requirement is to be at least 16 years old and have proof of ID and proof of address in Romania.

I think it was lost in translation. What they meant to say is that BuyVM was sold in May of 2023.
He doesn't live in Romania. His real address is in Norway.
It's possible to jump place to place and run a non-scammy legit business. All it takes is some integrity. I'm one of those people.
Also, look at the history datapacket (UK registered but founder not always in the UK).
Focus on the scam people, no need to gossip.

If you're dealing with a business, never, ever, send funds or pay for services as "friends and family".
If a business is asking for "friends and family" payments to circumvent fees, then they're the ones you should steer clear of.
Yeah, Paypal F&F might be somewhat customary when dealing with people on ones local classifieds ads (still probably not the right thing to do(tm) even if i'd say it's widely known and tolerated) but not in relation to actual businesses.
