Help setting up 5700G iGpu
I purchased the 5700G server provided by fiberstate, but I don’t know how to set it up to enable the GPU correctly. Can anyone help?
The issue is:
1. What else do I need to configure in the bios?
2. How do I check whether it is enabled correctly in the system?
Note: I have updated bios to L4.26

Make a ticket. Support will help
Already Make
Their support speed is satisfactory, but it seems not everyone can solve this problem
Then complain and try to go to higher-level support. How to enable features on the hardware they sell should be the first thing they know.
Will try it
But it’s also good to have successful people share their experiences.
Support helped me and several others
Do you know what settings were changed?
How to make sure the gpu is enabled?
Not sure.
Finally found the solution after searching a lot:
1. Upgrade the bios version to 4.24 or above (I use 4.26)
2. In BIOS
boot option filter "UEFI only"
CSM (compatibility support module) "Custom"
other and video both change to UEFI only
3. Execute
apt -y install firmware-amd-graphics
on the server4. restart
5. Use
ls /dev/dri
to check whether is success. The successful output is similar toby-path card0 card1 renderD128
otherwise it will beby-path card0

Yes, I found two supports but neither solved this problem, and because testing this caused the bios to fail to boot, the support staff could only remove the CMOS battery reset.
But your support team is great both in terms of speed and attitude.
Thank you for the feedback. Glad to see that it's working and we'll definitely include a how-to for enabling iGPU.
