[Looking for] Dedicated server in Europe w/ high end Intel CPU
I am on the hunt to upgrade my European dedicated server from Hetzner as i7-7700 is struggling sometimes. Were in contact with their support and they can't customize a server for my needs (even when I offered to cover the cost for them to get the parts) so I try my luck here.
Requirements:
CPU: Intel CPU 3 GHz+ and 2x+ faster single core speed compared to a i7-7700
RAM: Minimum 4 GB - as long it is fast enough to not bottleneck the CPU
Disk: Minimum 50 GB SSD
Traffic: 800~ GB/m
OS: Linux (mostly comfortable with Ubuntu Server)
Budget: Around €70~/m (flexible). Can pay upfront annually or biennially, but would like to test the machine for a couple of days before making such big decision
Location: Center of Europe
Uptime: 99.9%+
Other: Remote console (some way for me to remote into it without a direct connection to it)
The machine will only be used to run 3 [Intel optimized] game servers which are single threaded and a simple Python script for Discord chat relay between Discord and the game servers. That is all.
I am at the point of willing to cover the cost of a whole dedicated server as most providers I have looked at have ridiculous high capacity components beside of the beefy CPU. Which is overkill and will never be used in my case. Ever.

Most likely a sign of you not needing a dedicated server but a VDS.
I can throw some recommendations if you're willing to switch to a VDS instead.
(A VDS won't give you a whole CPU though, but a few dedicated cores)
No thanks to VDS/VPS as the virtualization layer is a problem. I am in need of the raw CPU performance.
If Intel CPU and 2x single core performance increase are required, I am not sure it is possible within your budget even on colocation due to energy price.
Therefore I said flexible
I am open to expand with another +€40/m depending on what other additions I can get with it.

You wouldn't find anything beefier from Intel. Also keep in mind that base frequency is not what you will observe for your usecase as you don't rely on multi thread workload, so far it is like only 3 cores utilized. So you will have about 5+GHz for them.
Just order a new server. Hetzner are cheap because most of the tasks are automated.
How do you measure performance per core?
To double the performance per core you will need a 13-14th generation i9.
Hetzner is the cheapest. IPAX Austria has such an offer, but the price per installation is too high. I haven't tried using them.
