  • @raindog308 same plan as me, $25 per month for 2 years with included modem! Northeastern reagion so caps don't exist here.

    About $25

Unlimited 5G (Max 100 GB in EU, unlimited in Sweden), calls, sms, etc. Could pay a few $ extra for gigabit speeds but I don’t find it worth it. Got fiber @ home but I’m often not home

This is at my current not very optimal location

    ISP is ’3’ or Hi3G

    Speedtest

    whoosh!

I could honestly do with 1 Gbps, but downgrading = higher price.

fyi @raindog308: depending on where you live, UL speeds won’t matter to B2. I’ve been struggling to push my backups to B2 at speeds >= 100 Mbps (occasionally bursts to 700-800 Mbps). Perhaps I’m too far from a BackBlaze DC — not too sure. I’m us-east.

I imagine the difference from 10->20 Mbps upload is rather noticeable (and from 20->100). Still, worth considering if you ever get fibre installed to your abode.

@doghouch I upload to B2 at much higher speeds. But my server is in Gravelines and B2 in Amsterdam I believe

    I’ve been leaning on:

    • peering issue somewhere (or lack of)
    • speeds only really guaranteed within the network(?)
      • with that said, I upload ISOs at well beyond 100 Mbps, so… not quite sure (Buffalo)

I’ll investigate when I get home later.

    Cheers!
