West and Central Africa have internet blackouts due to multiple undersea cables being cut or down.

  • Just a guess, but probly inside the red area since Tenerife is not affected.

  • That's going to be a massive work order submitted for the fiber repair.
The telecoms are gonna need to submit invoice # for double bandwidth on the neighboring undamaged cable routes.

    Worse still,

Red sea has also 3 cables down between EU/Asia and Africa also uses them.

    Africa Asia Europe-One (AAE-1)

    Europe India Gateway (EIG)

    SEACOM / TGN

And repairing these will take months cause almost nobody is willing to work at active warzone and those that do, will need military escort at the very least and insanely high bonus.

Here's the smokeping from London to one of my servers hosted in Lagos, Nigeria. Looks pretty bad. :/

Map shows Mali is not affected, so anyone with Mzungu services are still fast my man.
