    I don't care for this NY thread for various reasons, the user interaction was minimal on this one, compared to other mega threads, and the reason you guessed it!

    Anyways this NY thread has lost its power not as much because of the spam, but because of the lack of GAs... At least I think so...

    I agree - past threads have been more engaging amongst us all. My attempts at encouraging positive user interaction in this thread recently appears to have helped some.

    I agree. I also have no proof, but this thread's lack of GAs appears to be related to all of the spam posting as how would users even see or participate in the GAs...
