What did I do...??? woops
So I typed sudo apt-get remove libc6 (or some package similar sounding). I installed it 30 seconds ago and wasn't fixing a dependency issue I had so I removed it.
It proceeded to remove almost every package for 5 mins. I can't connect thru SSH, and the current session I have open is stuck in PAM profiles or something.

well shit. i also messed up the networking in KVM/IP somehow so I can't even connect to that. made it worse by trying to fix it. woohoo
