Hi George, thanks for the quick answer. I edited the request, DDR5 is needed as the server has to be quite quick. Thank you none the less!

If you're looking for something in VA, reach out to @qps.

No guarantees they'll have exactly what you need, but worth reaching out.

    Thanked by 1qps
  • Why Ashburn? Solana isn't super centralized there.

Do you have another location in mind?

They don't like running Solana servers.

    Hello,
Not in VA but you can consider this too:

    AMD EPYC 7742
    Cores: 64 (Threads: 128)
    RAM: 512 GB DDR5 ECC
    Disks: 2 x 4 TB NVMe
    Traffic: 100 TB @ 10 Gbit
    Backup Space: 1 TB
    Location: USA, Utah, Ogden
    Subnet /29
    $459/mo

@NetDynamics24 is there a way to test this before committing?

    Hello,
we cannot offer free tests on dedicated servers. We can guarantee the optimal functionality though. If you just want to test the network, we can provide a test IP for pings.

Yes, if this is for Solana, we'll pass.

  • hmmm I would suggest looking at OVH. They have Epyc Genoa dedis.

    Last I checked the 7742 doesn't support DDR5.

  • I experienced that DDR4 works fine as well :)
