The loudest animal in the world is a mere 2cm long, prawn. The Pistol Shrimp is capable of snapping its claw shut so rapidly, that it creates a bubble which collapses to produce a sonic blast, louder than a Concorde’s sonic boom.
The shock wave can reach 230 decibels, also louder than the sound of a gunshot. The imploding bubble for split seconds also generates temperates of 4,400C, nearly as hot as the sun, killing its prey.
Flamingos are not pink. They are born grey, their diet of brine shrimp and blue green algae contains a natural pink dye called canthaxanthin that makes their feathers pink.
Flamingos in zoos often lost their colouring, until zoo keepers supplemented their diets.
Otters “hold hands” while sleeping, so they don’t float away from each other.

Dolphins use toxic pufferfish to ‘get high’.
Dolphins deliberately handle pufferfish causing them to release toxins as a defence mechanism. These toxins can be deadly in high doses, but also have a narcotic effect – and are a powerful hallucinogenic, which dolphins appear to enjoy.
A documentary witnessed them passing around pufferfish in a pod, before floating just underneath the water’s surface, apparently ‘mesmerised by their own reflections’ afterwards.

The pair are named after the writers and producers of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Norm Hiscock and Mike Scully, who were also consulting writers on Michael Schur's previous sitcom, Parks and Recreation.

After Fox decided to cancel Brooklyn Nine-Nine after just five seasons, the fans took to Twitter to voice their anger and disappointment and pleaded with many networks such as Netflix and Hulu, in the hopes of renewing it. Even celebrities tweeted their support for giving the show a second life.
Notable celebrities included Hamilton creator Lin Manuel Miranda (who went on to play David Santiago, Amy's brother), Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, and visionary director Guillermo Del Toro.

Despite Being Set in Brooklyn, The Series Is Entirely Shot in L.A.
Even though the show is about the 99th police precinct in Brooklyn, filming doesn't take place in Brooklyn. In fact, the NYPD doesn't even have a 99th precinct. The building used for the exterior shots of the 99 is actually the 78th precinct in Brooklyn.
Filming takes place in the CBS Studio Center in Los Angeles, California. It's quite surprising, seeing how perfectly the show manages to capture and recreate the feeling of New York.
