Well something similar happened with my asus in 2016 the service center said the soldered ram was damaged and i will need to replace the entire board for that, but thankfully i remembered i had a complete protection plan from asus for two years so kida got it done for free, i still think why solder ram on board when you can just have the ram slots.
I am from India bro

Page 21, let's go demand some GAs now!!!
Chef is ignoring our demand
HP did this to me once in 2012. Tried to charge me $300 for MB replacement. Took it to a local repair shop. Got it repaired and got a new keyboard for $40!
LOL! I didn't know. Then, be careful. You better get it in the hands of a relative or something and then get it to India.
Well chef might be cooking something extraordinary
The reason I can't ship here is that customs does not care about the invoice price. They use retail list price, or if they can not find that they determine what it is worth (always higher than list) and charge tax on that price. Then you need to pay a customs broker to pick it up from customs and carry it to a local shipper to send it to you. Who will then lose it and say it was already delivered.
I ship to a friend who brings it to me when they come to visit.
I feel ya. Let's hype it up!!!
Well it's not the first time i am importing something from overseas, i know my ways in this and i believe i won't be paying more than 28% for anything i import(specially in electronics).
Guru, please teach me as well, cause I have been charged with ridiculous fees earlier.
Well that's the reason, i always insure my parcels and only pick those who provide realtime tracking, you can't be sure about others.
I've floated the solder on a few gpus on notebooks when the video stopped working, just need a heat gun. New life to old equipment for the giveaway market
Insurance in Mexico, surely you jest.
You can always reach out to me before proceeding with any import order, will surely help you out to the best of my knowledge.
WELCOME TO PAGE 21 - WE ARE FLYING HIGH NOW !!!
Well that's what i am thinking if it ever happens again imma remove the entire ram from board.
Thank you, bro. Will get in touch.
Well insurance kinda depends on the logistics company, tbh most overseas companies proceed with insurance as an optional addon people just ignore that to save some bucks here and there.
Sure, anytime, just don't ping me at night
Will do. Thank you.
You're welcome and let us reach the naughty number
Sure. I am in. I am expecting a GA on page 24 as well. Let's see.
Insurance is a racket in Mexico. They don't pay you anything, they just collect money. We have a very weak consumer protection system here.
FrankZ hacks @TrK's phone to wake him up at 3:30 AM with the message
"Get Back To The Party Ping Ping Ping"
Something new I learned about Mexico, by the way, the insurance is usually from the MNCs In my case if I decide to go with Fedex or Aramex they both provide me insurance just in case while some of the vendors don't do it at all.
Hack mine as well. Wake me up at 06:09 AM
Will you look at that.... Who is in 1st place @TrK is in 1st place.
I might start laughing when i see this hapenning, i mean my personal phone is a feature phone and my secondary phone that i have usually have DND mode on all the time
You know that you can set the alarm yourself, right ?
It does not need to be done remotely
