I can recommend the KeyHelp control panel (for free) or directadmin personal ($5/m).

I tried CyberPanel years ago, and I found it to be quite buggy, welcome current users correct me. I believe HestiaCP is a much better choice. However, I no longer use a control panel as Docker has become my preferred option. It offers a more straightforward approach for me.
If you want paid lifetime licence then apis cp is good and most secure for wordpress websites and in free segment you can go for cyberpanel and hestia cp both are stable

So far i tried hestia, aapanel and keyhelp. aapanel is from a chinese company so not really trustworthy for me. Enhance isnt free and charges min 5$ per month. So far i like keyhelp the most.

CWP is the best free option
HestiaCP Is the same as Direct Admin functionality wise - need to use SSH if something complex required to change, except HestiaCP is free to use.
My personal choice is HestiaCP and Plesk.

You really need to try CloudPanel.
For free? I think WordOps (CLI based - NGINX), CloudPanel (NGINX) and CyberPanel (LiteSpeed - OpenLiteSpeed). I think those 3 are the easiest that i've ever tried.
For paid, there are plenty you can try, like Runcloud, ServerPilot, Ploi, ServerAvatar and Enhance.

Ive tried them 1 or 2 years ago. As far as i can see nothing important changed so far. It was working but it was too simplified if i remember correct.
Cyberpanel/Cloudpanel are really super easy. Cloudpanel was too simplified when i tried them a week ago, compared with cyberpanel.
Which of the paid options can you recommend? I would host only 1 or 2 domains just to play around. As far as i understood, enhance can be installed on more than one server, you only pay a minimum of 5$ and then they charge for every website hosted?!
A big plus for me would be a panel with a backup solution included.
