Well indeed ... No doubt about that ...
Its just that generally EU providers exempt tax for Non-EU users...
However rules may be different in Romania.
First time, I heard that Tax is Exempt for Non-EU Company but not for Non-EU person.
Just in case anyone ask ... for Bucharest, RO location

Reregistered for this as I lost my old account, was never very active tho...

Same as current offer except on 1ge no 10ge yet
Done, upgraded!
@Hosteroid
Appreciated!
Are you fine with private VPN usage? (nothing dmca related)
Don't know how providers handle it now in general, so asking
Hope to have a offer with double storage =]
please double BW Invoice #6195
I know this is not a support thread but anyone else getting this at startup:
failed to start raise network interfaces
Debian just ignores it and boots up imediately but Ubuntu waits a few minutes there.
Ethernet is working fine tho.
Happens for me with the templates and on iso install.
I do not think so
Done, thanks for your order!
Open a ticket please with screenshots and other info that can help me out resolve the problem asap...
I'm in my VPS, but still waiting on my email
Double bandwidth? ?
6197
EDIT: I had to resend verify email from host panel, it worked.
Bandwidth doubled!
hot damn. that was fast
Invoice number 6199
I absolutely HATE the "comment [whatever] to receive [whatever]" bumping shitfuckery, so I will not just dump an invoice number but I'll at least add some (hopefully) valuable content, namely a short mini review based on actual data and experience with their support.
CPU and memory: Xeon E5-2690 v4 at 2.6 GHz. Not really amazing, I've seen much faster E5 v4 systems. But not a snail either. I'd say halfway between a decent E5 v2 and a decent E5 v4 (my guess is that the node is somewhat throttled for lower power usage). The RSA crypto performance is particularly crappy.
That said, keep in mind that this is (a) a server in Romania, and (b) a very cheap promo VPS.
Disk: Certainly not "ultra-fast" (as advertised) - but not at all crappy either. 6.5 MB/s and 1670 IOPs actually is very decent for a very cheap promo VPS and in Romania.
So, me happy.
Connectivity: Pretty much all european targets at or over 100 Mb/s and the major ones even 200 - 450 Mb/s (within Romania even about 700 Mb/s). LA in the 60ies, WDC close to 100 Mb/s, IN MUM lower 80ies, Melbourne lower 30ies, Tokyo lower 40ies, Hongkong mid 30ies, Brazil SAO lower 30ies, Africa, Kenia 65 Mb/s.
As a European mostly addressing only Europe I'm perfectly happy with the results, and getting 100-ish Mb/s across the Atlantic sweetens it.
TL;DR
Considering the very low price this is a sweet deal indeed and I don't see a significant weak point.
But wait, there's more! Support. Friendly, actually helpful feet-on-the-ground - and very quick! - support. I had a bit to/fro because I wanted an ISO mounted, and it all went very well and quick. That's what I call really good support! (But to be honest nothing I feel one can demand with such a super cheap promo thingy. All the nicer that you get it anyway!).
Final TL;DR: Get one as long as that promo VPS still is available! Recommended!
(What a shame they play the stupid thread bumping game. Their offers and service/support is damn good enough to create - deserved - attraction.
But, oh well, @Hosteroid my invoice number is 6198. Now double my traffic, please)
I agree with @jsg.
Windows Idle test
The cpu utilization was below 2% and it indicates cpu vCore is not oversold.
Here as soon as windows programs are closed and idle state, the cpu utilization is around 2% even on RDP session
Trying to be
Done! Thank you for your order
Thank you for your review and comment, and order ofc, traffic has been doubled.
I do not know where did you find that low IOPS tho as I just created yet another VM for Yabs testing and this is what I get:
