  I declined the switch but im keeping the server. Why?

  1. It is cheap as chips! I have a VPS where i can do what i like and experiment with different software and refresh my skills
  2. I get about 600mbps on this 1gig nic. It is defo shared and having 10 gig shared is normal practice, but means you’ll never get max. And im ok with this because…
  3. The CPU and Ram is also fair for the price. But the hardware is no where near something to get the most out of a 10 gig nic for a game server or file server or VPN server
  4. I’ll never put anything important or production critical on it. I have some important project im working on, but it’s more like a staging project. If i had something business critical, i might consider either upgrading to a more feature filled package or use a bigger brand company like DigitalOcean or Linode

  Sorry some folks going through the hassle of refunds. I’m sure they will get around to it eventually.

  We were adding some extra node's and some LET customers didn't want to wait a few hours and start opening chargebacks or asking for refunds. Then they start posting here because they expect 5 minutes response times. This is taking a lot of our time :-)
