It's against our AUP. Warn you once, terminate you if it continues.
Got my VPS provisioned. Thanks for the great deal. The disk size is even larger than the last BFD deals. Here is a yabs of my Standard VPS v3.0 VPS. I skipped the network test as it should be the same as the above yabs.
Existing customers also pay the setup fee @oplink? It's an account level thing, or per vps ordered?
Really nice yabs.
will be similar when nodes have more customers?
how is the cpu % use allowed?
Per order, per what is listed on the website or offer.
Should be, we keep nodes at around 20% load to avoid overloading.
under 30% sustained, its fair share cpu
Is it possible to get my server migrated to 7950X node?
@oplink Strange, I'm not receiving your verification email. I've just opened a ticket to sales, hope will resolve this soon. Need to pay for the invoice as soon as possible.
Solved.
Any chance to mount an ISO?
I think that's how they keep their network clean. So, worth it.
Yeah, small diks spammers can't get pass their KYC to purchase big diks storage VPS.
Current stats for this DC:
9728 ips
at least 73 send mail (detected so far)
2 ips are owned by spammers
504/73=7 reputation per IP
Positive reputation. Spammers anyway bypass KYC.
No large spam operators were detected. Only medium size.
Imho - good DC suitable for mail
No sorry. What OS do you want?
Debian 12. I just want a vanilla installation of Debian. Usually, I prefer a fresh install via an ISO at most providers. But if it's not possible, I'm good with the template too.
Invoice #103399, good deal, waiting to pending
Their servers are stable. Here's something I got from them a while back.
Really great offer! Couple of questions:
Is it ECC RAM?
30% cpu sustained is generally more than enough for me. If I wanted to exceed that for a couple of hours continuously per week is that ok? Mostly wondering what is the cut off between sustained and burst
The DDR4 nodes are ECC. DDR5 nodes are not. However, all DDR5 has some for form of basic ECC built into the die.
"Unlike DDR4, all DDR5 chips have on-die ECC, where errors are detected and corrected before sending data to the CPU. This, however, is not the same as true ECC memory with extra data correction chips on the memory module."
Also... We will be update the newer 7950x nodes to 192G from 128G later this month. Still waiting on testing to complete before we push it to production. Memory is all the limiting factor with VPS on these Ryzen Nodes. Asrock has a bios that allows 192G
If you push 30 AND long bursts in the same hour you will get an abuse ticket.
I really like your VPS and network. Worth the setup fee if you asked me. I figured out how to boot the netboot.xyz ISO via grub and finished installing Debian 12. Everything went smoothly, and I'm good to use it in the long run.
Keep in mind that none of the SolusVM2 VPS cloud-init tools will work for you moving forward; Hostname changes, Password resets, adding ips. etc.
I'll keep in mind that everything has to be done manually. Thanks!
Thanks for confirming, I will move the long burst workload elsewhere. Sustained will be more like 5%. Very impressed so far with the CPU and disk performance!
Didn't get 7950X node, time to cry myself to sleep tonight
FYI... 7950x space sold out until late next week. Not much 3900x space left.
Plus we will be prepping to upgrade our current 7950x nodes from 128G to 192G memory. Target for this is before the end of DEC.
@oplink coupon is expired, possible if i get one? i will use it with windows as rdp for browsing. thank you
How do you use 192G RAM on 7950X?
asrock 1U4LW-B650/2L2T Bios update v3.17
"Supports 48GB DDR5 memory module."
Is there a coupon code?
The promotion code entered has expired
