@BasToTheMax Example: Yesterday there were some dual 2650v2 (not 100% sure anymore - might have also even been something like 2680 or similar) at $20/m. Now that's what i call a crazy deal. Just the location and the single disk kept me from buying. 2x1TB spinning rust makes way more sense for me than 256GB SSD.
In general servers that can't run raid are kinda sad in my opinion - even at smaller disk sizes. 2x128GB is way better than 1x256GB. If you just want to yolo for maximum storage there is always raid 0.
