Order # 6084832378
Hi @ThisThatGuy -- Happy to see that you were able to grab one of these Black Friday deals!
We've gone ahead and doubled your bandwidth allocation ๐
Product/Service: Black Friday 2023 - 3 GB Ryzen 7950X VPS (Black Friday 2023)
Worlds faster than my OLD DigitalOceans VPS. But... I'm not loving the download speed of the server - as seen below (Recv Speed), and as experienced by myself trying to upload backups to the server to get set up, it's rather slow.
Unfortunately, tech support points to a CDN where it can indeed download from quickly, and says all is good.

Multi Core | 4500

What are you using to upload backups to the server?
My SSH client. From my workstation and from my old DO VPS. Also did a couple various speed tests. I'm not expecting a solid 1000gpbs lol, but not even reaching 100mbps is a bit disappointing. Everything else so far is looking good.
Oh, if I'm going to nitpick... reboot times... they were crazy quick on my DO VPS... here its between 60 and 120 seconds. But like I said, nitpicking at this point. :-)
To the credit of the support dept, while they didn't 'resolve' anything, they did respond quickly to tickets I opened.
Can I please double bandwidth for 9060435510
Thanks!
Hi @ThisThatGuy -- Appreciate you so much
Thank You again for the business and I'm happy to hear that our performance is much faster than your DigitalOcean VPS. Just wanted to address the network concern if you don't mind. This is a known issue with the YABS script (with the external iperf3 servers that it currently uses), was discussed at length in various posts within this thread (and also on this forum). Rest assured the actual network speeds in the real world are actually much faster than what is reflected by the iperf3 test servers that YABS script uses. So that I don't repeat myself, please see the below posts where this topic was discussed and addressed in greater length:
https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3764640/#Comment_3764640
as well as: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3764663/#Comment_3764663
and at: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3754191/#Comment_3754191
Various community members have confirmed this as well, and seen much faster network speeds when using other scripts to benchmark.
