That's ok, time is relative after all! And it waits for nobody.
You still here @dustinc ?

Hi @Turbo_Pascal -- great question! I'd say its a generally accepted fact within the industry that bandwidth and power costs are much higher in Singapore and other APAC regions, compared to others. Maybe that might change in 5-10 years from now, but as of today - this appears to be the case overall. Limited colocation facility options as well. Whether the additional cost is embedded into the base cost of the service, or providers charging an extra surcharge for deployment in APAC regions, overall costs for products/services in this region tend to be higher compared to say, North America based regions.
Alternatively, our west coast datacenter locations within the US (i.e. Los Angeles DC-02, San Jose, Seattle, etc) are still a good fit for those in Asia, and provide decent enough latency for most use-cases
We can only hope that he hears you and does it. Fingers crossed.

To the local RackNerd party ?
Of course there is always the possibility that he just goes back to work.
Could be, I always suspected there could be some of those, but those are without any strippers, right?
Not sure about that, but they do have the best whiskey.
