You are right... But last year there were a lot of facts that were interesting to read, to know something new
So they sometimes also land under "useful" comments. But its hard to distinguish between spam and useful, when you write it

Normally palettes were done when nobody was around to talk to.
I have been working since yesterday on setting up the offers for BF mega-thread on the OGF. While also setting up a couple of new VMs
I ment that when you are back to the thread after night, you just scrolled by, only looking for Dustins messages, and not other members, so a lot of discussions were lost.
More than double the time it took for page 228 to fill up.
Palettes are indeed quicker but not everyone has a palette collection at their disposal

Nothing changed since yesterday, as mentioned, each free minute is used to read through MS courses to get prepared for Azure Solutions Architect certification
The goal is to get it this year (not many weekends are left...)

How long is the certification is it just the one exam that you have to sit or several?
Yes, its the single test. Of course, it had the prerequisite of Azure Administrator, so you can say - 2 tests
The Oracle Enterprise Architect... that was the challenge... 1st - a test, 2nd - to prepare a project with all the UML diagrams, all use case analysis, etc. Basically full system architect work that was validated by human experts. And then 3rd part - open questions about decisions. Each part costs separately, and also in the prerequisites list there were courses to be had. The good thing is that this cert is for the lifetime of me, where Azure is only for 1 year and I will have to renew these (for now for free, but we know how corporates remove free...).
So, how long did it take to complete The Oracle Enterprise Architect?
It took me 2.5 weeks to do the 2nd part. I took vacation from work, and did use full work days to complete it. Before that also reading 600 page book ( https://www.amazon.com/Enterprise-Architect-1Z0-807-1Z0-865-1Z0-866/dp/0071826785 I got this as a gift from my wife - she knew I wanted to pass the exam
). At that time there were only two chaos makers around, so maybe the preparation was a bit faster - now I have three of them around 
Passing these high-level exams is not that instant 
Way to go. Well done that is some commitment.
