I think one important stat could be to compare the current page count to that from last year when the same number of days has progressed for both. That should give an idea if the current rate of activity is fast or falling behind with that of last year. Like an activity line graph.
+1 this would be a very interesting stat indeed. especially for those of us who weren't able to participate in BF2022 thread
MrEd has all the data. I guess we can also scrape it from there if MrEd doesn't mind.

Yes, the stats page is evolving, so there are some things, that are not available for previous years. Though... I could start indexing with new code on old threads...

For context, last year's Racknerd Black Friday thread, https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/182479/official-b-l-a-c-k-f-r-i-d-a-y-thread-community-endorsed-take-a-peek-racknerds-black-friday/p1, has 1116 pages of comments, and counting! Not sure if we want to count the pages past Cyber Monday of last year (people still seem to be requesting and receiving double bandwidth in that thread).
Don't think so. The last page took taken 6+ hours to go through. Hence comparing activity rate could be a nice stat.
For comparison, we have the date when thread started, and comparison would vbe current n-th day to the 2022 n-th day. So it doesn't matter, how long the thread was alive
