It is understandable, this month of November the customs of any country will be at 100%, it is a very important month, so I believe that every customer should understand this situation.
@Advin
KVM Standard S , is this still available ?.
none of your vps listed seems to be available ?.
I LOVE AMD EPYC GENOA 9554 VPS ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Forget Black Friday - I have proper Christmas cheer going in anticipation of my Genoa
Don't mind if it's a late - thanks @Advin
@Advin
In the realm of servers, a tale to unfold,
Of AdvinServers, the awesome and bold.
But hold your laughter, and lend me your ear,
For Genoa Servers, oh dear, where are they, I fear?
I signed up with glee, a VPS so divine,
Promised by Advin, a server like fine wine.
But time has passed, like a slow-motion show,
Genoa Servers delayed, making my impatience grow.
I twiddle my thumbs, in server limbo I stay,
Advin, oh Advin, what's causing the delay?
Is Genoa on vacation, sipping server coladas?
Or did the cables get tangled, causing server dramas?
I check my inbox, no updates to find,
Genoa's elusive, playing hide and seek, unkind.
I dream of data flowing, at lightning speed,
But alas, Genoa lingers, like a tortoise indeed.
In this digital dance, where time takes its toll,
I yearn for Genoa to make my server heart whole.
Advin, my friend, with your servers so bright,
Let Genoa emerge, and end this server plight!
im not worried about delay, i know Advin will make good the pre orders with some perks!

@Advin any update on this?
It's weekend - don't expect customs to work on weekend
// However the giveaways could work :P
What?
That is not how customs work.
Should be deployed by Tuesday or Wednesday, customs cleared just before the weekend
If there is a high volume of packages being imported and/or entering the country, customs can take longer to process them since there would be a much bigger backlog of packages that they have to sort through, look at, and process to make sure that items being sent aren't illegal and that the right amount of VAT is being charged etc.
I'll go through giveaways on Monday most likely, feeling super ill due to potentially COVID and it's low priority for me right now. Of course, tickets are still being processed normally as we have another employee and I'm still going through them.
Thank you for your support!
We have restocked a few instances but almost all of our hypervisors are at 100% capacity right now, we're working on restocking but it will take some time. We use owned hardware in most of our locations, so it's harder to scale/expand versus renting hardware since there are high upfront costs.
We should have some major restocks planned soon, working out the logistics and working on building new nodes.
I know how customs work. I run an import/export business dealing with shipments both via air and sea.
Just because BF happens in November does not make it a busier month for customs as seasonally the peak shipping for this is done in August through September as that also avoids golden week.
Ah, okay, I don't really know much about imports/logistics for retailers
covid ?. good luck bro
which country are you based in ?.
Well it covers imports in general. If you are trying to get something through customs then avoid when the bulk stuff is coming through as it will get held up.
Other times should be fine as long as your paperwork is all correct.
what is cost of additional ipv4 ?. i need many servers, ipv4 . need to plan ahead based on cost/supplier
It is $1/IP/mo for additional IPv4. If you are ordering in bulk (20+ VPS) we can work something out over tickets.
I just browsed your offers. For shared web hosting, have you considered offering a lifetime deal on something like your DirectAdmin 1GB plan?
Lifetime is not sustainable in the long term, the 1GB plan can happen because you need to be an active client with an active service
There are a few hosts who do lifetime, but it’s a major commitment.
If there is anyone feeling "buyers remorse" and want to get rid of the XS package I will gladly take it.
I'm sad these packages do not offer a snapshot. Would be such a awesome feature to have 1-2 snapshots. would gladly pay few dollars extra per year for it.
Until it is supported, whats the best way to back these servers up?
@Advin where are you based in?
We are based in the United States, specifically Delaware.
We are still looking into doing something like this, but the main problem with doing backups is both ensuring data consistency & stability while backups are being performed. Snapshots/backups, from my understanding, may "freeze" the filesystem in order to be performed, which can cause problems with high IOWait or various other problems if the storage it is backing up to is slow and/or loaded with other people taking backups and/or snapshots. It's something we're looking into but it will take some time for us to roll out
The best way would probably be to use something like Borg to backup your specific files to a remote destination. Alternatively, you could install Proxmox on your VPS and run LXC containers for all of your applications (very minimal overhead), and then backup the full LXC containers somewhere. If you ever lose data, it would just be 1 click to restore a full system.
Is nested virtualization absolutely necessary for the solution of installing promox in a VPS to be viable?
No need for LXC containers?
I'm not a customer, I'm just asking for my personal knowledge.
LXC containers don't require nested virtualization, it is only required if you want to perform full KVM virtualization. LXC containers will give you a full Linux environment, and you can even run things like Docker, FUSE, etc on them through Proxmox with certain flags. They are extraordinarily lightweight, I have ran LXC containers with under 64MB of memory allocated before
I run Proxmox on my own personal setup with a bunch of LXC containers and I have NAT configured so all of my websites/applications are inside their own containers and everything goes through just one public IP address with a reverse proxy!
We allow nested virtualization on most products, including Genoa.
