Excited about those one. 8vCPU 2 dedicated and 16GB ram for $96 is no brianer.

Neat! What will you be using that one for?

honestly going to try some small game servers for friends. always kinda dicey on VPS with trying to be respectful resource neighbor (and also dealing with disrespectful ones lol)

That's a really good deal! I gotta hand it to Racknerd for consistently coming out with great sales.

and then the customer service on top of everything. it's pretty great

Yea, it's unmatched! I'm really looking forward to getting a VPS with Racknerd.

Hi, I see numbers are powerful... Did I destroy the activity with additional one number to the members? Should I hide the column?

Numbers are indeed powerful. But I appreciate the stats! I'd say, if anything, add more numbers!

I plan to find today some time to add the median of how many words are in users comments. It will be more tricky, because I have to find correct rules, like URLs - there are many words in each of it, images are not words, etc...

WordPress Benchmark - Your final server score 9.9

    Blazing Fast 🚀🚀🚀

I gotta get me a 7950X VPS too...

    they're downright impressive

And well priced, especially during the Black Friday sale!

I've picked up one and trying to resist another

Did you get the base Ryzen plan?

What other VPSes do you have? (With Racknerd and otherwise)

I have a Racknerd 4th of July 1core 1gb ram, a Greencloud VPS 1010 birthday special, this new Racknerd ryzen, and a hosteons 2 dedicated core VDS

I am waiting for Advin Genoa to be delivered too
Excited about those one.

I try to bother them as little as possible but everytime I had to contact them they were great. Extremely fast and always willing to help.

I bet! And makes sense - I'd feel bad bugging them while paying Black Friday prices too. Haha.

When I have the need for it, I'd like to upgrade to something beefier like a dedicated server.

It will be more tricky, because I have to find correct rules, like URLs - there are many words in each of it, images are not words, etc...

oh yeah, we were wondering earlier. does it count all emoji as the same?

For uniqueness yes, emojis are counted, but I am using org.apache.commons:commons-text:org.apache.commons.text.similarity.LevenshteinDistance, so I don't really know how it treats the emojis. Would have to make some tests to provide a better answer :)

  • I am waiting for Speedypage I don't know who handles it LET. To through some BF deals. All hands down I will go for that. I had a pleasure working with them and they have surpassed all my expectations in terms of support.
Their infrastructure is solid and powerful hardwares too.

  • @MrEd Another cool feature would be a sort of filter on some of these columns to see who's ranked the highest based on for example "less than 10% similar comments" or something to that effect.

+1 for filters and sorting of some kind

Thats a good idea, I will se what I can do ;)

  • Thanks! Hopefully it's easier to deal with than Levenshtein Distance.

Not year about 8 months now, got few of their WordPress plans in UK USA and two VMS.

Didn't particularly like Singapore they had high latency but London and US is Rocket!

Plus the fact you get free BunnyCDN is bonkers!!

  • Anyway, it's nearing 2:00AM now. I guess Dustin went to sleep too. Good night everyone!

I will though implement some other "similarity" measure, because currently it is 90% according to the length of the message... This doesn't fire on messages "Page 123" and "Page 124", because difference is 1 for these messages, they are clearly similar, but because message itself is short (8 characters), similarity is only 87.5%, and it doesn't fall into similar messages category. I guess I will have to add a check "if difference is less than 3" for example, then ignore the percentage :) This will definitely increase the number of similar comments, maybe we will have less 0% members :)

  • If anyone win 30+ gbs storage server for 1 yr and want to exchange it with a 1yr reseller of 80gbs clientexec please do let me know.

  • @Arjun42 said: Yes, for sure. I can't recall if hybrid-analysis can do that. It's more like VirusTotal in that it's a one-way upload and scan, right? No ability to interact live?

Right Hybrid-analysis is just scan + report. By the way cuckoo sandbox also offers realtime interaction with the samples like any.run.

A fifth column in the top 50 table can show the median of the number of words in all the comments made by that particular user. Instead of median, mean can also be used but median should be better to get rid of outliers. Not sure though how realistic or useful this is.

So basically this is a stat correlated to the number of words in a comment from a particular user.

    Quoting again

I have already mentioned: backend is Spring Boot, Frontend: Bootstrap css, Vanilla JS, charts: chart.js ;)
