2$ VPS review | from server host

Okay I brought this vps from server host but their website is on vpshostingservice.co with following specs:
1 vCPU Core
2gigs RAM
30GB SSD
1000Mbps bandwidth
1 IPv4 address
KVM

Okay how was it? Well its worth the price I guess. I ran a piped instance, memos, vaultwarden and unbound on it. None were usable in real world! Sites takes very very long time to load. Even when I SSH into terminal, it is slow as hell.

Than should you buy it? Depends, if you want a server for testing purposes you can use it! Else stay away from it.

They offer it for $1 few months ago. Colocrossing network.

    For that cost enough.

I have shared YABS for $2 VPS ... you can compare and see for yourself
10 > 7 no matter how one tries to market or sugar coat 7

Just this much is good enough for you

    Processor : AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor
    CPU cores : 1 @ 3393.622 MHz

    vs

Processor : Intel Xeon E3-12xx v2 (Ivy Bridge, IBRS)
    CPU cores : 1 @ 2999.902 MHz

    which one is better, @jenkki

The geekbench 6 score for Intel Xeon E3-1220 v2 is around 600
So, this node is, clearly, much oversold.

compare this with $2 vps from @HostEONS

Yeah I guess its oversold a lot. Geekbench scores from Hosteons look good. But I have never tried them. Will give them a try if I get time.

I gave 'em a try a few months ago and had to ask for a refund, which they quickly and cheerfully granted. But man, the network might not be fast, but it sure was slow:
