It seems the person who runs IDC Cube is from China(?), and speaks English as a second language.
The Chinese culture is extremely high context, whereas the US falls on the lower end and countries like Germany clock in at the very bottom (part of the reason why Germany produces such talented engineers; they explain everything verbally in extreme depth).
That said, writing across different cultures/languages can lead to vastly twisted meanings. I find it hard to believe this person just nonchalantly came to LET to host CP lol.
I find it more likely they were just trying to be quirky and didn't realize what they were saying and how it would be interpreted by a primarily Western audience.
As you can understand, the CEO is indeed from China, and we have several employees from other countries. It is possible, as you said, that my mastery of the language as CEO may not have understood the deeper meaning, which has caused such a big misunderstanding. From my POV this thread should be closed, your funny lgbtq+$%#! company should be banned from LET until everyone in your funny company is at least 21 years old (proof required) and you and your funny CEO should think hard and long whether you shouldn't address the chinese market where "context" is well understood.
Oh wait, no, there'd you probably end up in jail rather quickly because the Chinese do understand context so well.
