I was eyeing dan.com ages ago but the owner wanted $185,000 for it. I guess it's a domain marketplace site now. That's a bit ironic.
I also want dan.au since I'm Australian. .au used to only allow third-level like example.com.au and example.net.au, but they opened up second-level registration last year. Owners of third-level domains had priority for the equivalent second-level domain. I've got dan.net.au, however the owners of dan.com.au and dan.id.au both applied for dan.au too, so it's on hold until we all agree who will get the domain, and neither of them want to give it up, so it's on hold indefinitely hahaha
I do have danl.au which is my actual last initial, and I've got upvote.au for my Lemmy instance (which is hosted on a GreenCloudVPS 9999 VPS from last year's birthday sale - see, this comment is relevant to this thread!)

185000 usd damn , buying SG 2222 doesnt feel so bad now , now that I think about it I should register all my firstname.tld domains now
I don't remember 9999 being offered again for Black Friday... but on the other hand, I can't remember even looking at Black Friday sales last year, so maybe I missed it.
If you're worried about missing out, the budget and premium KVMs are great deals with the double RAM offer. I haven't checked if they have SG available with those deals though.
Having said that, I seem to remember @NDTN saying earlier in this thread that they may have new Ryzen systems for Black Friday? I really wish Vanilla let you search an individual thread like more modern forum systems.

6666 plans were available on BF sales. 9999 were much better.
I don't remember the birthday plans being on sale on BF, they had custom Ryzen plans and some Intel CPU plans

If not I'll try to grab a budget/premium KVM.
Sg2222 is also tempting but cdn77 has a better connectivity to my area than Leaseweb.
so new sg 2222 and 1010 are going to be on cdn 777 (dc1?) and not dcs2? if so I will end up transferring my 2222 plan
