Yes, I just saw the newegg pricing, like $13 for a used single E5 (e.g. 2620v3).
But please, those xx20 and xx30 E5s are useless, it really is a better idea to go with an E5-2650v2 than an E5-2620v3.
Disappointment. Energy crisis and IP shortage means that we can never match past ones.
Indeed. I think Same about 2620, 2630,...
Ipv6 never Short!
and another beloved option would be an E5-1650v3 but I'm not sure if you can use those in blade setups.
I have this in Blade systems. Sure you can!
Ryzen dedis that can beat @fiberstate deals
When black friday starts?
I am going to be looking for one Dedi, this way I can just virtualize everything I need.
Instead of random server everywhere.
$40/mo or lower
6-core CPU 3.6Ghz
1 TB NVMe
/29 ipv4
Plenty of BW
If I can't find that, I will just buy a mini-pc
Beelink SER6 MAX
Ryzen 7 7735HS (8C/16T, up to 4.75GHz)
32GB DDR5 RAM
1TB PCle4.0 SSD
For $450
100Gbps vps 7$ quarterly
Europe, preferably Scandinavia.
At least 2G, cpu is irrelevant.
BGP is a big plus, will pay extra for IXP.
Not having high hopes of finding exactly that, but hopefully I can at least find a good deal to consolidate some smaller vps's to.
4 dedicated CPU core (really dedicated 100% usage without complaints)
8 / 10gb RAM
500 GB SSD
15/20 TB @1Gbps
for 9$ or 20-25$ quarterly
free vps ?
We have something up our sleeves for this
Intel Xeon Dual e5-2680v4's are at the sweet spot currently for price and performance. Only issue with these Xeon's in the power draw, 150-200w average for two CPU's isn't the greatest. Single CPU Ryzen's (average 65w) beat them in performance and power consumption. Power use savings will more than make up for whatever the CPU cost difference is in the long term.
If possible, I want to buy Alwyzon's AMD server in Black Friday in low price.
7950X!
Some nice storage VPS with some TB to play
It's actually convenient because I do recieve around that time!
Honestly, I don't expect much.
The unsustainable black friday deals seem to be the root cause of Dedipath's demise and I'd rather everyone just keep on truckin' with what they've got going than risk their business to appease a bunch of cheap, ungrateful people who end up being a net loss to the business when the price vs support and defending reputation time is taken into consideration.
UPDATED: New expectations (Status Level: HIGH)

Agree.
Cost optimization. Limited margin yes. But selling at a loss is a no-no.
In fact, it's counterproductive. Deals are supposed to help build reputation.
If you're going to end up not trusting the providers who are present here, for fear of seeing them close down without notice because they're not profitable...
Dedicated servers with dual 100 Gbps ports with unlimited bandwidth at $7 per year ๐ or free data centres colocation with unlimited remote hands and usage
I'd like good deals with plenty of stock. No point in an incredible deal that goes out of stock as soon as it goes live.
I'd like a decent VPS in Asia (preferably Singapore) with decent specs at a great price.
And lifetime hosting plans with more bandwidth allowance.
Lifetimes and Unlimited storage.
dedi server
4-8core
32G-128G ram
2x SSD/NVMe 500G/1T/2T/4T
1G port 20T-100T traffic
EUR20-50 per month
Hello, I almost fit your requirements.
Haha you changed quick
Say that to providers that don't have IPv6 yet
Whats the reason? Even old Routers like Cisco 6500 from 2005 or earlier do ipv6 routing just fine
