What @default said is pretty much spot on.
I made the auction bid post mostly because I found the pricing a bit absurd for my tastes. The joke pretty much continued to where we started bidding on default's comment.
I'd be keen on the Filen account but definitely not for 300 euros. If I pay for an account I'd probably just go directly with them at that price rather and pay the premium to them to support their project. LTS accounts are (in my opinion) unsustainable without proper financing structure put in place, so my perception of "selling" a Filen account that's already been paid for is like buying a used tire. I'd rather pay full price to keep the business sustainable than pay 80% of the price to another individual just to get a few more months out of it.
I could be 100% wrong with how Filen manages their finances (I probably am wrong), but this is how I perceive it, so it's also why unless it's heavily discounted I'm not too keen on it.
Just my perspective and opinion. Not meant to offend anyone (especially not Filen).
Well then let's perhaps start an auction for Filen. Starting price 175 euros. Auction ends a week from this post!
Plex is gone! Filen is still available if anyone is interested
Both gone!
This has got to be the weirdest auction ever. Sale is gone without any bid at 5 days before the auction is concluded (held under the table).
I kindly request from moderators to take notice how it's done.
@default don't think this was started as an auction thread, ppl were trolling as usual, just randomly bidding.
Who took them?
It wasn't sold on here.
Eh its all right. He knows it and is being pedantic. And if its a matter of technicality - I withdrew the auction before anyone made a bid. Happy? And there aren't any service transfer auction rules.
Perhaps ask a moderator next time before starting this.
Ask what? That I can play along with the random bids coming in this thread?
When you're not sure, ask.
Seems their BF deal is already up https://filen.io/pricing
25-35% discount on lifetime plans.
