Understanding CloudLinux, Virtualizor/SolusVM for Hosting

I'm trying to understand CloudLinux, which is used for shared hosting. How is it different from Virtualizor and SolusVM? Can someone explain this in simple terms?

CloudLinux is for shared hosting (websites) and Virtualizor/SolusVM for KVM virtual machines - totally different solutions

Are the purposes of both not the same?

No - website hosting and virtual machines are totally different services - first one is only for websites, second one is for literally anything (but cheaper than getting a dedicated)
