Yes, however it wasn't working... We're working with Irvine datacenter to fix this.
Yes! Very soon!
You are exactly correct.
We hope to reintroduce Irvine at some point in the future, when we know our network can handle bad actors and has been thoroughly tested.
Why cancel the machine without permission. It will only be used on the 19th. Is this the integrity of your new business?
Just avoid Hxservers. Had VERY BAD experience with them.
We had to cancel Irvine. We also refunded you in full. We sincerely apologize for the poor experience.
We're sorry you've had such a bad experience with HXServers. If theres anything we can do to make up for your bad experience, please let us know.
@hxservers
Arizona is also shutting down and vps's will be terminated with some period. What is happenning here?
What does it mean for the other locations. Currently the trust factor regarding stability seems to be diminishing.
There's a big trust issues here.
At least Dedipath gave their clients less than 24 hours to migrates their data
this thread was created at 2023/09/20, with three locations. But three days after, at 2023/09/23, we can see that two locations have been closed (Irvine) or will be closed (Phoenix).
what speed is this? it's really a big trust issues for new service provider. Is it reasonable to predict that the next closure location is Los Angeles in the future?
Arizona is shutting down because GTHost isn't giving us additional IP Addresses to lease to our customers. GTHost provided a single /27 and won't issue more. We're paying $699 a month for servers at GTHost, and with only 29 IP Addresses, it results in a loss over $600 a month.
Existing VPS' in Phoenix won't be allowed to renew. When the monthly billing cycle has been reached for existing orders, they will be terminated. We've communicated this to every Phoenix customer. 25+ days notice to all clients of the closure.
NY, Miami, and LA will not be shutdown. Those datacenters are not GTHost and we've confirmed with them they have as many IP Addresses as we'll ever need.
Your points are very valid. We have to earn trust again, no doubt. The other locations are not going to be shutdown. Those datacenter providers are very good, and we've ensured they won't be a problem. We've also purchased a huge surplus of IP Addresses just to be on the safe side and to handle another potential surge in sales should that ever happen.
as your customers, I think we can only trust that you can provide service stabilized
If they won’t sell/lease you any of their IPs you can buy/lease your own under your own ASN and get them to announce them which they should(hopefully for free)
please restock vps in Los Angeles
Why are you not leasing IPs yourself? You said you're paying $1/month per IP which is far over the $100-$150 it costs to rent a /24. You've cut out anything even remotely interesting from your offer and have become yet another reliablesite reseller. At least you could continue Phoenix if you got your own ranges.
You said that the data center can't provide you the hardware in LA and refunded my orders. And now, you say that LA will not be shutdown. So weird.
Full text from your email:
"Our datacenter providers could not provide sufficient new hardware for us in Los Angeles and is why we've ordered new servers in Miami and New York."
We're working on this right now.
LA Datacenter is out of the servers we lease. They have others, but they're older and not at the same level our customers have come to expect.
We're working on acquiring several /24 subnets.
Invoice #242
Your VPS is pending for LA. LA is still sold out. Our billing system does this annoying thing with number of products in stock, and automatically ups the stock number by 1 for each order canceled. An order was canceled that was queued for LA, hence why the system even let you place an order. ETA for LA is roughly 3 days. You can either wait the 3 days, choose another location that has stock, or receive a refund.
LAX will be back in stock soon!
Will the LAX performance from the past recover?
LAX performance is quite good. If your VPS is not performing fantastically, please submit a ticket and we'll investigate immediately.
i'm looking forward to support ipv6
Do you allow private torrents?
if yes, do you limit torrent speeds?
Yes we allow private torrents. However, please ensure you're torrenting legal items and nothing a DMCA notice would be triggered for. We do not impose speed limits on anything, other than the port speed of your VPS.
