    He is running a business and can decide/alter the price for the VPS.
    Same way, you are free to purchase VPS from any provider.

    $2/month for HX-1 VPS is not sustainable, since the cost of each IP is close to $2 per month. Before posting the offers, Hxservers probably haven't expected so many people would flock to HX-1 VPS instead of other larger packages(HX-8 VPS, for example). They profit from larger packages while the smallest package is just loss leader.

    We've managed to process roughly 150 orders. Unfortunately, there is an issue at ReliableSite's IP Address management infrastructure preventing us from properly assigning IP Addresses to additional VPS. To use additional IP Addresses at ReliableSite (and many other providers) you must restrict each Public IP to a virtual MAC Address that is used to uniquely identify a VPS to a Public IP. Somewhat (very basic terms) like a password for a Public IP so another VPS cannot "steal" and use an IP they're not supposed to.

    According to ReliableSite, the switch our primary Los Angeles node is connected to has reached its maximum capacity of virtual MAC Addresses. They need to move the 10Gb uplink of the server to another switch that will support the additional virtual MAC Addresses. This is the reason for the additional delay. There are currently 34 orders in the queue, and about 5 orders of VPS that do not have network connectivity due to this issue. We will keep you updated here (LET), our Website, and our Announcements page as the issue progresses towards resolution.

    We appreciate your patience while we work through this unfortunate circumstance at ReliableSite..

    Why not just make the network routed instead of switched? This will eliminate such issues.

    Due to sheer number of orders, we had to purchase additional IP addresses at the same cost we were selling a VPS for. So naturally, we had to increase the price by $1.
