I just confirmed incase they resumed, Looks like now they only fix things. No new features are being introduced and also last update was some months ago.
What are the chances that things will break during OS update? I been running Plesk on CentOS for about 4 years and nothing broke with OS updates and packages. It feels more like OS at this point for me, instead of panel. It feels like they actually test everything before they push the OS updates.
In my opinion, both Hestia & CyberPanel are good but Hestia seems easier and more user friendly!
Cyberpanel would be my choice if websites are based on WordPress or php scripts.
If openlitespeed along with php settings is tweaked little bit would give best fastest loading times.
I am using latest aapanel rn, it is stable no performance issues so far.
Changed all default ports and endpoint with strong password.
Should I be concerned about security ?
do guide.
Is Ajenti still around? I used to love it back then.
Using it for my personal sites for last 1 year without any issues. Neve saw any panel with such in-depth features and customization.
From my view.
Keyhelp is a great control panel, but without Nginx or Openlitespeed it loses against others.
Yes is confimed That next update 23.1 (no ETA) of Keyhelp will come with Nginx.
When it comes with Nginx I can assure That Keyhelp will be one of best free control panels. (I said one of best out there, not the "best")
The UI is easy to use! Very user-friendly. Looks amazing.
If they focus and introduce Openlitespeed + Nginx as option and features it will be the king IMO.
Never had it happen not once with updates from the OS. I have however had it happen plenty of times with control panel adjusted packages. So, when you say they test. History begs to differ.
+1 for Fastpanel.
+1 keyhelp+hestia
Avoid proprietary software disguised as foss. I'am talking about litespeed. Do not lock your-self into this product. You don't need it. Just hestiacp with nginx / apache combo is more than enough.
+1 hestiacp
fastpanel
Virtualmin/webmin.
Try froxlor.
FastPanel and HestiaCP are the best!
Hestia Is my personal choice as more stable than CyberPanel
Cloudpanel.io
Try CWP as well
Cloudpanel easy to handle and stable at this moment , support ARM
Cloudpanel!
Ajenti was my first choice when I was in webhosting, everything just worked and it supported BSD natively so I didn't have to port everything.
It was a great panel, I wonder how it is now?
