I am looking for a good server to encoding, my budget is $150
I currently use these but I am looking for a better one, the one that works best is the epyc
AMD EPYC 7502P
Xeon E5-2620 v4 CPU
Ryzen 9 5950X

I can highly recommend x.com , they seem legit and like a stable business
Why not use a GPU? It'll outperform any CPU for encoding videos.
We may suggest you our Intel Xeon E5-2680v4 or AMD Epyc 7313P (the last one with a bit higher budget). DM me for quote.
How big of a difference in fps is there? With the Ryzen 5950x it only goes to 200
🤔
I tried it but the gpu was not used by ffmpeg, even with the configuration it went very wrong, or maybe I did it wrong
We have a 5950x, all of our servers have unmetered bandwidth.

We don't know how it goes in video encoding but the CPU is faster and newer than the 5950.
With the 7900X there is also the possibility of using the iGPU rather than the CPU alone.
And if you can increase your budget you can go for the 7950X3D:
