  • to all the people who have problem with the VPS regarding outgoing connection or pinging to external domain.

    You need to change your DNS to google DNS or Cloudflare DNS

    the default one is not working, it's something like 4.5.5.1

    You need to chnage by editing edit the file /etc/resolv.conf

    8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1

    Follow the guidance over here.

    Thanks for informing everybody. Appreciate it. I saw this as well and by default for these VPS plans the DNS wil be adjusted for new signups automatically.

    same here, they said they checked the ticket (pm'd) but no reply even after they "escalated" the ticket. so whats the hold up?

    and why would I not be eligible??? maybe because you canceled my server for IO and CPU use after I compiled my project and rsynced 25G db????
