Cheap Dedicated server needed for storage <10 EUR/month
Dear members,
I'm looking for a dedicated server provider that could offer me a dedicated server with 250-1000GB HDD, EU location, fair bandwith, and low price (like Kimsufi or the french dedi servers) I really hope there are still providers that are not sold out. I'd mainly use it for storage, so reliability would be a good point

Considered getting a bigger box with Hetzner or Server4You then sharing it with someone?

250-1000GB is a small HDD, doesn't warrant a whole dedicated server. For such small space try Backupsy.
If you need something in the TB ranges, look for dedicated server.

The main reason why I'd like a dedicated one is because of the I/O-s. I've already got a backupsy VPS, but when I use it (as a VPN and file server) from several different PCs, the I/O gets to the skies, and the speed is not the best. I'm also afraid of my VPS being canceled because of violating the I/O TOS. Sometimes I eat up 1 TB of monthly bandwith as well, because of the VPN service I'm using.
Make sure your openvpn is not set to log on every packet received / transmitted, because that's a real IO killer!
If not for logging, a VPN should cause zero IO load.
Anyway i have some cheap dedicated servers to offer, but ovh/kimsufi and online.net would be cheaper.
