Adding ssh key to Hetzner storagebox

Hello, I need to add ssh key to hetzner storagebox and establish FTP/SFTP connection, but I guess I don't have root access here and I don't know how to transfer ssh key from my server to storagebox.
Using the hostname and user provided by Hetzner, I tried the following;
ssh-copy-id exam@<10.0.0.1>
But I am getting error;
"exec request failed on channel 0"
In alternative methods, I think I am still encountering the error related to restricted access.
