This would be better than the RAID 6.
Considering how little storage I lose with RAID6 I don't see the point of risking data with yoloraid. The performance is made up with the NVMe caching.
But I have considered something like giving a good discount to people already having another service. Maybe in the future

Are the backups encrypted in a way that we don't need to take this into account with GDPR stuff? Personal data transfer to US is in violation of article 45, and I think your customers would be accountable, if their EU data is readable in the US.

Good question. The server is encrypted, and since the backups aren't immediately readable without properly mounting them to a hypervisor I do not think this breaks the GDPR rules. Nonetheless, I will encrypt the individual backups going forward when transferring them from the first backup server to the next.

Hi, I bought 20% of my machines by month in the previous campaign, but I see that now I can buy more by season, can I participate in this "coupon PREBRR" campaign for the machines I bought before?
The 25th is the latest expected date. I hope it is before.
I assume you bought the german storage server, whereas this only applies to the Finland storage storage.
If you wish to migrate from the german server to finland we can arrange that and apply the coupon for you. Just put in a ticket for that.
Does the data stored on the 1tb hard drive still exist after migration?
I am performing migration tests before it goes live to ensure that data remains through migration. If it for some reason doesn't work I will create a server for you for a day or two so you can migrate data yourself before closing the old VPS.
