Big Cloud alternative to Kubernetes cluster
Ciao, i am planning to move away from single vps hosting (on OVH) to containers based on K8s orchestration
Aws too expensive and way to complex
Gcp too expensive but more friendly
Azure i hate it ![]()
I plan to install and manage my own k8s cluster (i have the right experience) so i was looking for some suggestions:
Which cloud you recommend?
I need load balancers as a service, i need api, i need fast local drives and good cpu
I need private network
I need snapshot functionality
Thank you
P.s Europe please

Take a look at Oracle Cloud. Theu have k8s, they have load balancers and I guess they have all you need
Maybe Digital Ocean
I run k3s clusters on Hetzner cloud
Hetzner Cloud. Excellent performance and reliability, and they have a controller manager to better integrate their services with k8s

Thank you for the reply. I wanted to try Vito Botta k3s on hetzner, so yes, herzner is my favorite.
Also digital ocean, managed k8s works really 10 out of 10, cli tool is great and they have LB , s3-like storage, snapshots and api.
I'll wait more to gather some other feedbacks.
