Gday
Does anyone know of an company that offers
Cheap Aussie VPS servers to host Static Page + Mumble
All I would need is
512m ram/1 core/5 gig space/swap file
I was using Vultr in Australia but they recently
removed the cheap paid plans
increased the cost so a cheap '5 dollar vps'
is 9 bucks a month now
If they support Australian Bank Deposit or Bpay
that would be awesome

@QuantumCore maybe.

Or @BinaryLane.

@speedypage maybe
They are using AMD Ryzen series. Better than common EPYC and Xeon for sure, and it's cheap enough.
Shock Hosting also has AU VPS for $5
I have experience with both @QuantumCore and @BinaryLane. Exceptional quality for the price.
@BinaryLane is my pick. Cheap as chips, awesome panel, great performance and locally coded CP.
@speedypage @QuantumCore Any juicy deals for Sydney upcoming?
For Speedypage, i don't think so, because the pricing already cheap, except you want to pay annually, you could pay a little cheaper.
Vultrs pricing hasnt changed BTW. You do need to select the right options though.
Personally I'm a fan of Linode Sydney over Vultr (performed better last Easter) but I've been iching to try out Vultr Melbourne.
i dont know how you can look past the god awful 2.2GHz core cap at Linode, criminal.
@Gravely if your application is just some team comms & a static page for you and your mates and that does the job who cares?
Get whats cheapest and go have a beer (its friday night!)

to be honest as @Gravely has already mentioned best bang for buck is @BinaryLane covers all major states and you cannot get cheaper. Great backbone with superloop as transit, OVH use there own transit blend but the rest just use Host Universal which has subpar routing
Webhosting24 aff has Sydney 1GB for $31.05/year.
512MB is even cheaper but currently out of stock.
non aff
