How to properly peer with DTAG?

Hi,

I was never a fan of Deutsche Telekom (DTAG), but I would like to know how you handle this with your customers. I have a server in the Netherlands, and some customers have been complaining about low speeds and packet loss on the server.

I'm considering setting up a proxy (tunnel) to eventually establish a vServer through Hetzner.de, which includes DTAG connectivity.

Do you have any other suggestions or better ideas?

    Hi,

DTAG Traffic is one of the most expensive I have seen in Europe. It's best to book a server with a provider with direct DTAG peering, because providers that you only use for tunneling will sooner or later kick you out the door, depending on how much traffic you do to DTAG, because for 1 GBit/s DTAG traffic alone you get 10 GBit/s with some other provider.
