If port 25 is enabled, it means the server could be used for sending mass emails. However, the majority of providers here don't allow that kind of activity. Good luck.

This is a common spammer config, the "500GB SSD" is the dead give away.

  • @Francisco @xTom ,

We will use these IPs for sending the newsletters to opt-in user's email addresses only.
We do follow the best mailing practices.
We do configure FDNS, rDNS, SPF, DKIM and DMARC for our “from” domains.
We do track the users’ opinions using Feedback loops(FBL's) of from domains as well as IPs.
We do provide opt-out and double opt-in features in the newsletters.
We have dedicated application development team which is in the need of new IPs for testing the new apps.

Just rent from a high end provider (Azure, AWS, GC, DO, VULTR, AKAMAI/LINODE) and use an smtp service like mail.baby or pay for mandrill at mailchimp.

    Assuming you are legit.

Holy shit. I assumed that spec for $60/mo was a joke, but you seem to offer/charge that!!!

But weirder still, that you'd offer 5 IP's instead of 254. What was the point of posting that ridiculous thing if not for a laugh or troll OP?

Respectfully, I disagree. If it's truly all residential IPs in that block, I'm amazed they allow SMTP traffic originating from it at all, rather than forcing all their customers to go through an ISP relay.

But even if all 1.9 million residential customers ended up on a blacklist, I suspect the only affected IPs would be your client's spam.
