DMCA Hosting question

You know all these DMCA-ignore thing had me thinking for quite awhile and I just needed to confirm something.
Let's say you have a VPS 1 in a compliant country, then you have VPS 2 in a DMCA ignore country.
Would it somehow make sense to proxy VPS 1 while VPS 2 faces the internet?
VPS 1 communicates to VPS 2 directly.
Would this be a viable solution? and if not why? I am curious to know.

Yes.
This is what most DMCA sites do. They rent out a VPS somewhere which is DMCA ignored and has enough bandwidth & power to hide the main server itself. The pros of it are that even if that server gets nuked, the original server is still alive, so they just need to spin up another proxy
Just like building your own cloudflare right.
Yea I suppose
Or you can use a service that does it for you like https://altrosky.net/
Yes, its called using a reverse proxy.
+1 for altrosky, easy no bs guy to deal with.
+1 for altrosky but cheaper options exist, especially if you're using it to share heavy media
