I need a game hosting server in a country that is free from copyright law.

This may feel like I'm a terrorist, but it's a misunderstanding.

GTA5 fivem is illegal in my country.

So I can't open the server in my country.

If I buy an overseas game hosting server service...

My country will ask the country of the game hosting server company for overseas cooperation, and then the country will ask the game hosting server company for cooperation.

Then I'll pay a fine.

So I'm scared.

I want a game hosting server that is free from copyright law.Besides, I need the DDoS defense...Damn it.

I don't know of any hosts anywhere that would comply with a demand from a foreign government (i.e. host is not located in your country, host has no presence in your country).

Obviously copyright needs to be respected, but that's a matter for the copyright holder and their representatives; not your government.

  • Something tells me that the OP is too young to even be prosecuted.

There's nothing illegal in a game mod. Just get a good deal and enjoy your server. And maybe stop getting legal advice from your Roblox mates.

Is this really a copyright issues though? What you are hosting is not copyright content the GTA FiveM software is not coded by Rockstar games.

The big World Of Warcraft servers are hosted with OVH for the same reason above all content hosted is coded by the community and on Github

  • It has nothing to do with copyright. You just live in a country where the game is banned. Unfortunately, we can’t help you to break your local law. You are not allowed to play it, so don’t. Or move to a free country.

  • Go with any hosting provider.
Hosting providers located in one country - don't give a fuck about laws of another country.

Pretty much any hosting provider would be suitable for this.

  • What country is has its police constantly looking for people playing a mod for GTA5 and trying to prosecute them?

Most sane hosting providers wouldn't provide information to a foreign country that they don't have a presence in, and a foreign country most definitely won't go after foreign servers for hosting FiveM.

Avoro and PHP Friends are awesome providee that host a lot of popular FiveM servers.
Good network, great stability, very good antiddos.
If you have bad ping to Europe then look at NFOservers

  • Try a different planet at the bare minimum. Better to get a server on Alpha Centauri. No earthly governments can boss around there.

  • Not that Incognet would be the first host I think of, when it comes to gameservers, however, if the vps lineup is sufficient in resources for this purpose, I'd assume @MannDude would make sure your FiveM server doesn't get shut down by a foreign govt's request.

Try our DMCA ignored dedicated server plans with DDoS protection

  • I've heard they allow GTA5 in Curaçao if you keep it on the low, worst case scenario you can open an un-regulated casino if not.

But what if my country sends an official letter request to the country of Hosting Providers? The hosting provider will cooperate with his country.

Im not a host, but if i were a host, Id be fine with fiveM and if they wanted to find you and lock you away, Id take a bullet for you. Not sure what country you live in where your level of terrorism might be considered and issue, but in 99% of countries in the world. You're no more a terrorist than someone who rides a bicycle on the sidewalk/pavement.

    You're right But,
The point I'm talking about is as follows.
My country will send an official request for cooperation with the host country.
Then the country of the hosts will order the hosts to provide information.

Opening the fivem server is not a mod.
It is classified as a private server for copyright violations that the rockster game company does not allow. (our country)

    I don't know what you're talking about.
In my country, FIVEM is classified as a private server for copyright violations that is not licensed by Rockster game companies.

  • Search for DMCA ignored hosts, they will ignore requests for copyright infringements. Unless the police from their own country, have a warrent. But im 100% sure that will never happen in your case.
a few DMCA ignored hosts off the top of my head are:

    BuyVM
    Alexhost
i think Advin servers too but check first.

    and many others

BuyVM and Alexhost that you mentioned.

If my country asks the host's country for official cooperation,
Does the host's country ignore my country's request?
Of course, it's not about terrorism but about game privite server(like wow private server illigal issue)

Just get a VPN. No country ever is going after a person playing the online mod of a game. Rockstar can do, though. Gameforge from Germany have successfully subpoena'd hosts in Turkey to uncover those running unofficial Metin2 servers. But it's definitely not the gov't or something. So, the best thing to do in this case is actually put your game server behind a VPN too. Find a VPN that does port forwarding or public IPs.

    I live in a democracy, a country,
My country government does not view FIVEM as a mod.
It looks like an illigal wow private server.
(A private server that was partially hacked into the game, not allowed by Rockster Games.I'm annoyed about this and I'm begging for help.)

Still, get a VPN and put your server behind it.
