Hy,

This is our first post, so if we omitted something out or the offer is not as the rules say so, please let me know, we will change the posting.

HOST-C is a Bulgarian company, with HQ in Ruse, and we provide Hosting services.

I would like to say the way your VPS Plans are set up is definitely interesting...
Number of cores = # GB of ram but then there is a 16-core plan with only 4GB Ram.

Is this becoming common? I don't recall providers banning DNS servers. I can understand why as poorly-configured DNS can cause a lot of network pain but I hadn't seen this restriction that I recall.

there are some applications that require cpu not memory, so we wanted to cover that too.

Well, misconfigured DNS server can hit you with more than 100.000 pps, so we realy do not want that to happen, and if we limit the pps for port 53, it will just end up in a realy bad user experience.

ha ha ha, lol, nop, no wall of shame, it will be implemented, and all of clients will get ipv6 free of charge. We will update this here, and on our website.

We do not have anything against that, there is a but, if the firewall will block you, then I have to say no. You can try. Do not ask me what are the settings, that is CLASSIFIED. :)

We actually have nothing against you doing whatever you want/wish with your VPS, as long as it is not ILLEGAL, or the 3 letter guys ( CIA, FBI, INTERPOL, ETC...) do not knock at our door.

The second they do, well, we are going to shut down your operation, and will notify you by e-mail, so it is really up to you.

  • @host_c said: CIA, FBI,

You don't have to worry about them.
They have no authority in Romania and Bulgaria.

  • where can I find TOS/AUP?

    while we are on it;
Do you respect free speech of your customers? (won't bend to SJW's trying to deplatform someone over content that is not illegal)
    How are DMCA requests handled?

I am not sure you can track people's pubes in impunity, even in Romania or Bulgaria.

Well, for the moment, out provider, RDS is extremely sensitive to what is going in/out of their network. The do have the advantage that is extremely stable, we did not had any issues with them for the last 1 year, like none.

For TOS, I will get back to you,

DMCA is handled in another way in EU, I have to study it before giving you a straight answer, so I will get back to this also in the coming days.
